RIOT is personal project of Darko Andric (21), music producer and re-mixer from central Serbia. He found out for electronic music very early, first started with techno parties in his city which had very developed scene in the beginning of 2000. Year later he visited psytrance party and immediately fallen in love in it. Not much time past he started to produce music under the name RIOT.

Name RIOT is a reflection to his music style, hardcore dancefloor “mad” and “loco” music, full of surprises, with twisted crossovers and breaks, crazy rap samples, panic sirens, with guitar riffs and vocals. He is trying to fuse various music genres like psytrance, hip hop, rock, techno, punk, electro, house, hard dance in one genre that will be recognizable with RIOT project.
His music is highly influenced by few well-known artists like Skazi, Eskimo, Pendulum, Prodigy, Infected Mushroom, with difference that his music is more aggressive and more intense, filled up with hardstyle note, with more breaks but danceable at the same time.

In his production career he has collaborated with few local hip-hop artists, and recently he is invited to do a remix of one track for most promising metal-core band from Kragujevac – BoneYard. He has done remixes, unreleased, to such artists as: Black Eyed Peace, M.I.A, Blur, Sharon Phillips, 2Unlimited, Scooter and Skazi.

RIOT is connected with the music on one more way – as a DJ. He played on dozen local indoor and underground forest parties, twice 6 hours DJ set in front of 1.500 people in club which has full capacity of 800 people!!!, was for few months in 2005 resident DJ in one of the best night clubs in Kragujevac, and with his music style and mixing technique he gained a lot of fans, from teenagers to older trance listeners, who like his new hardcore style and respect and support his work.

Currently Darko Andric is the only one in RIOT Live, later this year he will include guitarist and one more keyboardist to make “RIOT live” closer to rock concert performance. About his DJ set, it's mostly consist of dancefloor bombs from different music genres and it will be a full blast and total surprise for party people.

In the beginning of 2008 he launched on Myspace promo mix of his 14 tracks (downloaded over 1000 times for one month only!), including few remixes he has done. In April 2008 he decided to release a promo cd consist of his 4 tracks and 2 remixes, and that CD also got great feedback from people in the whole world, especially from Mexico, Brazil and Serbia.
At the moment he is looking for label to promote his music world wide, and hope that debut album will be released until the end of this year on some good and respectable label. He has few offers to release some tracks for various compilations, and soon world will be blasted with new artist – RIOT.
